The amount should be adjusted according to the kitten's age, growth stage, activity and body condition. Royal Canin recommends monitoring weight closely during kitten growth because nutritional needs change significantly as kittens mature.

For kittens, it is generally best to divide the daily amount into several meals and provide fresh, clean drinking water at all times. When introducing a new food, transition gradually over about one week to reduce the risk of digestive upset.

Note: Feeding quantities for this product vary by kitten age and expected adult weight, so I would not use the adult-cat pouch amounts from the other Royal Canin products for this kitten formula.
