For adult cats (1-7 years old) prone to hairballs. Hairball Care's exclusive anti-hairball complex helps your cat eliminate twice as much hair by natural digestion. Cats spend 30% of their time grooming, with up to two thirds of hair they shed being swallowed during grooming sessions. This can lead to hairballs in the digestive tract. 

Hairball Care is formulated with an exclusive blend of fibres including psyllium (rich in mucilage) and insoluble fibres. This means hair swallowed can be eliminated naturally instead of collecting in the stomach and being regurgitated. 

Royal Canin Hairball Care Dry Cat Food is formulated to be a nutritionally complete & balanced diet for adult cats that can help prevent hairball formation. Developed to help eliminate fur from the gastrointestinal tract, Royal Canin Hairball Care Dry Cat Food has a unique mix of dietary fibres (one of which is psyllium).

Royal Canin Hairball Care Dry Cat Food was found to effectively double the amount of hair excreted in 14 days through an internal clinical study. As with most dry Royal Canin feline formulas, Royal Canin Hairball Care Dry Cat Food has a balanced amount of minerals to support urinary health.

Dehydrated poultry protein, vegetable protein isolate, maize, vegetable fibres, rice, animal fats, hydrolysed animal proteins, wheat, maize flour, maize gluten, beet pulp, yeasts and parts thereof, minerals, soya oil, fish oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, psyllium husks and seeds (0.5%).

We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively.

Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2.
On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet.
On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet.
On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.
